i bet you get loads of people say this to you, but i just had to tell you. i was on a night out in nottingham a few years ago (Oct 2003) and came across you. there was a bit of a dodgy atmosphere
in town cos like alot of others we had been to town to watch the football at a pub. even though
england had won there were still fights and sooo many drunk people (ourselves included). anyway, ive never been stopped in my tracks as effectively as walking down past littlewoods and hearing this voice. whenwe got to the left lion we found you playing to a reasonable audience. after we'd picked our jaws up off the floor we sat down with some of the other amazed people. there were couples slow dancing and generally it really changed my mood. ive seen some of the biggest bands in the world, but have never been moved like i was that night. someone asked what your name was, and i
remembered it, hoping to hear more of you in the future. now is the time! (if only i could listen - im at work!). anyway, wish you all the best because you have something that ive not seen or heard in anyone else. thanks to myspace i hope i can find out where you're playing in the future. cant wait

'I saw Rapunzel playing in Nottingham during Saturday 18th February 2006
and I was amazed at her tremendous voice. Sorry to say I was in a rush
so was only able to listen to 3 of her songs, but I did buy a CD which
she signed. The minute I returned home it was in my player - what a
beautiful voice. I bought a number of CD'S today including Syd Barrett,
Pink Floyd, Neil Young and others but am unable to play them because I'm
hypnotized by the tremendous Rapunzel. I heard a wonderful song by
Rapunzel, whilst busking, about a CD collection and a break up in a
relationship, unfortunately it's not on the CD so hopefully will be
recorded for CD number 2.. If only there was a DVD available - well
there will be soon, because with a talent like Rapunzel has she's going

'Beautiful if short lived gig at the Big Green Gathering. I was so
shocked I actually started melting, sitting on a shadowy verge just
passed the stroke of midnight I was briefly touched by the stroke of
lyrics and lilting tones so sweet I fell in love - a shame the heavies
had to slide up and shut the whole thing down, I thought that was the
fall from grace of the entire festival. Never mind...viva Rapunzel' - Barnaby

'Occasionally, something happens to stop you in your tracks. So it was when I was heading for the last tram home out of Nottingham city centre. It wasn't the precise guitar playing or the perfectly in tune singing initially. It was a lone female voice, echoing across the city saying, "Listen to me". I stopped and I listened and I'm hooked. Only rarely does an individual inspire emotions or create feelings such as "I want to work with this person". Maybe that could happen. If not, I wish Rapunzel every success. She deserves it. I experienced a magical moment listening to "I Want You Back" - even if the battery did die half way through. I hope I hear you again.' James.

I heard Rapunzel last week on a night out in town in Nottingham
city centre. She was singing at the left lion!! :) I just wana
say that she truly has the voice of an angel. Shes gona go so
far in life. Theres lots of talented artists out there, but she
is so different in so many ways, and puts them to shame. Shes a
lovely lady and deserves all the luck in the world in the music
industry. Dont know if she'l remember, but we were the 2 girls
sat on the lion. We asked her to do a Dido cover, she did Life
For Rent. It was absolutely amazing. She sent shivers down my
spine. We could have listened to her all night long! :) Her
voice deserves to be heard by millions all over the world, and

'Not really too sure how to start this. I had been thinking hard about it this morning on the bus into the bustling cityscape of Nottingham. I had all these great ideas about what i was going to say about Friday night and now when it comes to write to you (like i promised) i can't put any of them down in words..' I'm the drunken fool who stumbled up to you on Friday night (10th Dec) at about 10:30pm (it could have been later than that!) Yep i staggered out of squares (what i was doing there i don't quite recall) and headed across market square drawn like a ship to the voice of a beautiful siren. Or stumbled drunkenly towards the bus stop might be a more truthful description, I think i walked up to you and wanted to talk about guitars i vaguely remember saying something like "ohhh Tanglewood" but to cut to the point i did like the music (before i interupted) very much so much in fact i actually brought your "Raw,Live,Real CD" and then dropped it about a meter up the road. I don't know whether you can remember any of this or not! Anyway the CD luckily wasn't destroyed and the next morning when i sobered up i put it on. And to say i was impressed would be the biggest understatement ever!
